Carpentry Pathway Guide

Program Overview

This multi-year program transitions students from baseline workshop safety to advanced structural assembly. The curriculum blends hands-on skill development with critical thinking components like construction mathematics and blueprint interpretation.

Leadership, communication, and real-world workplace behaviors are heavily integrated through co-curricular involvement in the SkillsUSA student organization. Senior students frequently engage in High-Quality Work-Based Learning (HQWBL), providing experiential on-the-job training in direct partnership with local builders and construction firms.

Program Requirements

• OSHA Compliance Required: Ongoing compliance with all state and federal workshop safety, tool guard protocols, and personal protection guidelines is mandatory. All students are required to complete the safety training modules.
